1. Choose Where to Place the Vanity

The vanity serves several functions in your bathroom so it needs space to perform properly. Place it for good traffic flow, even when drawers or doors are open, and check that they don’t slam into other fixtures or block the entry when you open them. There should be adequate wall space above the vanity for lighting and a mirror or medicine cabinet, and room to comfortably clean all areas around the vanity.
